Acceptable Use Policy

1. Use Connect lawfully and professionally

Use Connect only for legitimate professional discovery, sourcing, supply, production, design, education, and related communication. You are responsible for complying with laws and industry rules that apply to your content, goods, services, location, and transactions.

2. Illegal and dangerous activity

• Do not facilitate fraud, theft, bribery, money laundering, sanctions evasion, illegal employment, trafficking, exploitation, counterfeit goods, or other unlawful activity.
• Do not offer prohibited, unsafe, stolen, recalled, or unlawfully sourced goods, materials, or services.
• Do not use Connect to arrange violence, self-harm, sexual exploitation, or abuse of any person.

3. Honesty and commercial claims

• Do not impersonate another person, Company, school, brand, or rights holder.
• Do not falsify identity, location, capacity, credentials, certifications, sustainability, origin, composition, lead time, availability, pricing, or previous work.
• Do not manipulate discovery, engagement, reviews, reports, or account status through coordinated, automated, or deceptive behavior.

4. Intellectual property and confidentiality

• Upload only content you own or are authorised to use.
• Do not copy designs, photographs, patterns, samples, trade secrets, or brand assets without permission.
• Do not disclose material obtained from a Private Network, private message, or confidential business relationship contrary to your obligations.
• Do not remove ownership notices or use Connect to solicit infringement.

5. Harassment and harmful content

• Do not threaten, stalk, intimidate, shame, exploit, or repeatedly contact someone who has asked you to stop.
• Do not publish hate speech, discriminatory abuse, sexual harassment, non-consensual intimate content, or content that targets a protected characteristic.
• Do not expose another person’s private contact, location, financial, identity, or account information without authority.
• Do not sexualise, exploit, groom, coerce, threaten, traffic, or solicit intimate material from a minor; attempt to move a minor into unsafe off-platform contact; or request a minor's home address, school timetable, financial details, identity document, or other unnecessary sensitive information.
• Do not misrepresent your age or use an adult account to evade safeguards that apply to users aged 13–17.

6. Spam and solicitation

• Do not send bulk, repetitive, irrelevant, misleading, or unsolicited commercial messages.
• Do not harvest contact information, add users to external marketing lists without consent, or use invitations to bypass messaging limits.
• Do not run pyramid schemes, fake opportunities, advance-fee schemes, or deceptive recruitment.

7. Platform and security abuse

• Do not introduce malware, probe vulnerabilities, overload systems, interfere with another user, or attempt unauthorised access.
• Do not scrape, crawl, index, export, train models on, or commercially exploit Connect data or content without written permission.
• Do not evade access controls, plan limits, blocks, suspensions, Private Network membership, rate limits, or account-deletion safeguards.
• Do not reverse engineer the Service except to the limited extent mandatory law permits despite this restriction.

8. Private Networks and Enterprise

Owners and Admins must invite only authorised people, assign the least access reasonably needed, remove access promptly when it is no longer justified, and avoid placing unlawful or unnecessary personal data in private workspaces. Team Members must use Company and Network access only for authorised work.

9. Reporting and evidence

Use in-app reporting or contact us when you reasonably believe content or conduct breaches this Policy. For urgent danger, child exploitation, grooming, trafficking, credible threats, or imminent physical harm, contact the appropriate emergency or law-enforcement service as well as Connect. Do not submit knowingly false reports. Preserve contracts, invoices, messages, and samples needed for your own dispute; Connect is not your sole record-keeping system.

A notice concerning copyright, design rights, trademarks, unlawful content, or another legal right should be sent to connect@bybluejones.com and identify the reporter, the protected work or legal basis, the precise Connect content or account, the requested action, supporting evidence, and a good-faith statement that the information is accurate. We may request missing information, notify the affected user where lawful, preserve evidence, and record the decision.

10. Enforcement

We may remove content, reduce visibility, restrict features, suspend or close accounts, preserve evidence, notify affected parties, or report conduct to competent authorities where proportionate and lawful. Serious risk may require action without advance notice. Where appropriate, we will give the affected user a reason that does not expose a reporter, minor, investigation, trade secret, or safety measure to avoidable risk.

You may request review by emailing connect@bybluejones.com, identifying the decision and explaining why it should be changed. A person not responsible for the original decision should review the appeal where reasonably practicable. Repeated infringement, repeated harmful conduct, or repeated manifestly unfounded notices may result in account restrictions.

11. No monitoring guarantee

We do not pre-approve every user or item of content and cannot guarantee that all misuse will be detected. The absence of enforcement is not approval and does not transfer responsibility from the user who created or shared the content.
